Agreed with most, however I think the terps are more pronounced in flower. Especially the proper Za. Rosin consistently has the banana, peach, orange, grape type terps and then you have the GMO/Gas sides

i also quit flower a couple months ago and my breathing was already soo much better. i switched to live resin at first, then i found out about solventless extracts and they are all i dab now. my lungs are now better than ever.

Maybe you should take a break. Inhaling any kind of smoke isn’t great long term.

I have favored concentrates over flower since 2014 so it’s a solid decade now. I’ll smoke some joints outside on a day on a nature walk, or at smokers lounge of some sort, but I don’t enjoy the burnt paper tastes and the combustion of pure plant matter. It’s been a long while since I had a phat bong hit with some kief on top though. It’s a love-hate relationship but I feel you. My tolerance is up the wazoo.

No matter what you’re smoking, plant material will always have a level of tar that you will be getting in your lungs. Extracts are always better as long as you know they’re clean, as you don’t have to put nearly as much smoke in your lungs to achieve the same effects.
